Darren and Steve took over the Westoning branch of BW Deacon in 2009, it has been a butcher's shop for well over 100 years. The shop has gone from strength to strength and they opened the Ampthill branch in 2014. Both shops have received a 5 star food hygiene rating. Both shops have free parking.
Darren Savage has been in the butchery trade for over 35 years, he is a keen advocate of traditional butchery and cutting methods. Darren runs the Westoning branch of BW Deacon just off Junction 12 M1.
Steve Dyke has also been in the meat industry for over 35 years and is dedicated to the highest quality meats. Steve runs the branch in the historic market town of Ampthill.
Our small team of butchers are on hand to serve, answer any questions about our meat or even for advice on cooking and preparing. We are passionate to bring back the tradition of local butchery into our community.
